My elevation veil ruffle tape, hemmed on all sides, was 520 cm. It's a good thing I love this. 🤣 After this was finished, I constructed my favorite type of veil to wear, a semi-oval shape. When all parts were completed, I washed them up and ironed the fabric to prepare for the gathering.
The veil tape was then folded in half and a wide running stitch was placed along the folded edge to use for gathering. Once the stitching was complete, I pulled the fabric along the gathering thread until the ruffle was the correct size for the veil. Then the ruffle was attached to the edge of the veil.
