Ruffled Veils & Headwear

Gathered Ruffled Veil
I originally made this veil for my laurel elevation, but I was not happy with how it turned out. So, I removed the ruffle from the original veil and then made a new veil that was a better size for the ruffle. (I wanted to keep the actual ruffle as a token from my laureling ceremony.) I then attached the ruffle to the new veil, which worked much better.
10 Hour Ruffled Veil
The 10 Hour Ruffled veil was a creation of mine that attempted to design a process where people could create "the department store version of a couture item." Most people were not willing to put hundreds of hours into creating a frilled veil, which is understandable. This project set out to make these lovely ruffles doable for everyone. I blogged about this process and taught several classes on the 10 Hour Veil.

Fretwork Veil
The fretwork veil was a creation that I made for Kingdom Arts & Sciences.

Cartridge Pleated Veil
This veil was the second that I ever made. I actually entered this veil into the Glymm Mere Arts & Sciences Championship - and won.
